Tested on Kubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
- Go to "system setting" -> "keyboard" -> "Advanced" -> "Caps lock behavior" -> Select "Make Caps Lock an additional Hyper".
- Click apply and reboot (optional. sometimes setting won't apply correctly)
- Try hit the combination of your desired shortcut.
- If the shortcuts is calling some system functions, disable it in "Setting" -> "Shortcuts" (For example I change Screen Locking from Meta+L to Meta+Esc)
- Launch "Discover", search for "AutoKey" and install.
- Create new Script.
- Set you hotkey with modifier "Hyper".
- Fill the script (You can reference to the example in the app).
- Have fun!
